- What kits do you offer?
- Six: ALE Essentials, The Airbnb Refresh, The Corporate Crashpad, The Disaster Restart, The Dorm Dropbox, and The Bare Bones.
- What is an ALE kit?
- ALE stands for Additional Living Expense, the part of a homeowners policy that covers living somewhere else while the home is repaired. An ALE kit is the set of housewares that makes that temporary place usable.
- What comes in a kit?
- It depends on the kit. Each kit page lists the contents room by room: kitchen, bedrooms, bath, and more. For a guide to what a temporary home needs, see furnishing a temporary home.
- Can I change what is in a kit?
- Yes. Every kit supports swap, remove, upgrade, and add at the line-item level. Skip customizing and the kit ships as listed.
- Where do you ship?
- Nationwide, with tracking and receipt confirmation in your order portal.
- Can I order only one or two items?
- Yes. That is what The Bare Bones is for.
- Can I rent a kit instead of buying it?
- The Airbnb Refresh can be bought or rented. Ask us about the other kits.
- What if a guest breaks something?
- We offer an optional à la carte replacement service.
- Does insurance cover housewares after a loss?
- That depends on your policy and your carrier. Ask your adjuster how your Additional Living Expense coverage treats household items, and keep receipts. We can provide an itemized kit list.
- Do you provide the housing too?
- No. We handle what goes inside. Housing is our parent company's work: see 1st Choice Living.
- How do I order?
